[98] ṛṣis tu tad-abhiprayan prathayati sma-kāmyakataḥ paścimāyāṃ diśi giri-taṭa-gata-gariṣṭhāṭavīm aṭiṣyati | kintu bhavatā yādavānām iva vraja-bhavanānām aritas taniṣyamāṇa-santāpa-santānābhāvāya tad idaṃ cintayiṣyate |

[98] The sage, however, revealed his intention: “From Kāmyaka, in the western direction, it will wander into the greatest forest situated along the slope of the mountain. But in order that there may be no continuation of torment inflicted by enemies upon the houses of Vraja, as upon the Yādavas, this shall be considered by You:
