hā candra-drava-yuta-candanena siktā
rādhāyāṃ tanu-latikā mayā sahārdam |
saiṣā mad-virahaja-locanodagāhā
mlāsyantī pratapati sampratīha māṃ ca ||
Alas! That slender vine of Rādhā's body, sprinkled by me with affection / using sandalwood paste mixed with the nectar of the moon, / now, sinking into tears born of separation from me, / is withering away and scorches me here at present.
