[244] ṛṣir uvāca-tatas tau bhāvayiṣyataḥ | satyam asmākaṃ prakaṭatare' pi loka-dharma-ghaṭanānarha-pratikāre' pi tāsāṃ vighaṭana-duḥkhe yad adyāpi snuṣākaraṇa-spṛhā nāpayāti, pratyuta sātatyata eva tāsu snuṣābhānaṃ vibhāti | dharmānyathā-bhāve lakṣyate | yad avaśyam āyatyāṃ vidita-rahasyatām āyātīti | tad api prāpta-kālatāṃ kalayati sma |

[244] The sage said: 'Then the two of them will reflect: "True, even though our grief over their separation is very manifest and cannot be remedied by social convention, our desire to make them our daughters-in-law does not depart even now; on the contrary, the appearance of them as daughters-in-law shines constantly. It is perceived that this apparent violation of righteousness will surely become an understood secret in the future." That too arrived at its proper time.'
