“The villagers, the citizens, the kings in the assembly, and in the sky the gods skilled in heavenly music, / the lords headed by the deities, Brahmā, Śiva, and Brahmā’s sons, as well as we, praising You— / we shall behold here both of You brothers, possessing the beauty of the elephant’s tusks from which the blood has departed, with unwounded shoulders, having slain the wrestlers, and You having swallowed the mighty Kaṃsa! //”
