sampūrṇāsīd āśu gopāla-campūr
eṣāṃ yasmād āśrayād eva pūrvā |
eṣa tasmād uttarāpy uttarā syād
evaṃ devaṃ taṃ kamanyaṃ bhajema || [svāgatā]
Because of taking refuge in them alone, the first Gopālacampū / was swiftly completed; / therefore may this northern one also become superior! / Thus let us worship that desirable Lord. ||
