āstāṃ vraja-subhrūṇām
abhisṛti-saṅketa-dhāma-milanādi |
svaira-sthitir api tāsām
avakalitā kṛṣṇam unmudaṃ kurute ||

Let alone the rendezvousing of the fair-browed maidens of Vraja,
and meeting at the secret bower;
even seeing their carefree presence
made Kṛṣṇa joyful. ||
