[42] tad evaṃ śeṣaṃ viśeṣam api pṛṣṭa-veṣaṃ vidhāya śrī-kṛṣṇaḥ prāha-vicārād asmākaṃ parama-maṅgalam eva yasmād idaṃ tasmāc chrīmat-pitṛ-caraṇeṣu gocaram ācarāma |

[42] Thus having set aside the rest, even the details, having disguised his inquiries, Śrī Kṛṣṇa said: “Because upon consideration this is exceedingly auspicious for us, therefore let us make it known at the feet of our venerable father.”
