[44] Then the king of Vraja, through the dispersal of his doubts, as if with joy, had Upananda and the others summoned. And there, with some partition arranged, the principal ladies, headed by the glorious queen of Vraja, also obtained information. Then, when those noble persons were seated comfortably, Śrī Viṣṭaraśravas, as if smiling slightly, spoke: “Just now, the beloved of the Bhoja king sent a message to us: ‘You subjects, resembling our own children, come here at your leisure for the great festival of the bow of Maheśa, accompanied by your cows and children, along with your lords! In particular, Rāma and Kṛṣṇa, who thirst to see their own prowess proclaimed!’”
