kiṃ tu śreṣṭhāṃ malla-vidyāṃ na vittaḥ |
tasmāt kasmād bhūbhṛd asmān mṛdhe'smiṃs
tad-vidyānāṃ pāragān vā niyuṅkte ? || (śālinī)
