rādhā yadyapi mūrchitā samabhavat tasyās tathāpi priyaś
cittāntaḥ sphurati sma tadvad abhito yadvac chatāṅgaṃ gataḥ |
so'yaṃ yadyapi dṛṣṭi-kṛṣṭim akarod asyāḥ sakāśān nija-
kṣobhād bibhyad iyaṃ tathāpya anudiśaṃ hā tad-dṛśi vyānaśe ||

Although Rādhā fainted, her beloved nonetheless / shone within her heart, all around her, just as he mounted the chariot; / and though he withdrew his gaze from her, fearing his own agitation, / she nonetheless, alas, pervaded his sight in every direction! //
