[23] tad etan niśamya ramyaṃ tan-mukhaṃ niśāmya śāmyat-pīḍā sa-vrīḍā tat-kāla-
valamāna-śītala-nayana-jala-bindubhis tat-padāravinda-dvandam indīvarākṣī śirasā
niṣevamāṇā suciraṃ siṣeca |

[23] Hearing this and beholding his charming face, the blue-lotus-eyed maiden, her distress subsiding and full of modesty, serving his pair of lotus feet with her head, bathed them for a long time with drops of cool eye-water streaming at that moment.
