[2] Snigdhakaṇṭha said: Then the night passed. And when that night had fully ended—which, howling with many jackals, had become auspicious toward Śrī Kṛṣṇa and clearly inauspicious toward Kaṃsa; when that night, which had generated great fear in his dreams and waking states, was spent—that arrogant man once more grandly prepared the profound commencement of the wrestling spectacle. Then, the arena situated in the very middle of the multitude of adorned and unadorned white tiers of platforms shone, gleaming with marvelous decorations, like the sky studded with stars amidst autumnal clouds radiant with lightning.
