ekasminn api yāte'bde prāṇeśaṃ cāntarātmanaḥ |
kṛṣṇa-māyā-hatā rājan kṣaṇārdhaṃ menire'rbhakāḥ || [10.14.43] iti |
'Even when one full year had passed, O king, the boys, / struck by the illusion of Kṛṣṇa, considered the lord of their life and their inner self [to have been absent for only] half a moment.'"
