āstāṃ prāg adya sadya-stana-śaśi-kalayālaṃkṛta-śrī-rasau yad-
vṛttaṃ tad-yuṣmākābhiḥ sa-śapatham abhitaḥ pṛcchyatāṃ śyāmalaiva |
yady apy evaṃ tathāpi sphuṭa-gatim acirād āgatiṃ cen-madīyām
īhadhve sarva-vighna-praśamana-racanā syād yadā tarhi kuryām ||

Let what happened before remain aside; what just took place today, adorned with the beauty and rasa of the crescent moon of fresh breasts— / let that be asked with an oath from Śyāmalā herself all around! / Even though it is so, if you nevertheless desire my manifest return soon, / then I shall do so whenever an arrangement is made to remove all obstacles. ||
