[3] yathā-yadā sālva-yuddham udbuddhaṃ tad-duḥkhena ca goṣṭhaṃ ruddham | tadā tat-tad-vṛttaṃ vidnamānā vṛndā sa-ruditam uditavatī-bhagavati ! kim anantaram antaraṃ bhaviteti na praviśati me hṛdayam |

[3] Namely: when the battle with Sālva arose and the cowherd settlement was besieged because of that distress, Vṛndā, knowing all those events, said with weeping: "O venerable lady, what inner feeling will come to pass next does not enter my heart!"
