[7] atha śrī-kṛṣṇas tena sākaṃ śrī-vasudeva-vinā-kṛta-yadu-kula-virājamāna-yadu-rāja-sahāyāṃ gatvā kṣaṇād avasaraṃ ca matvā tad idaṃ nivedana-mudrayā vedayāmāsa,- æmama kiñcid vijñaptir asti' iti |

Then Śrī Kṛṣṇa, accompanied by him, went to the assembly of the king of the Yadus, in which the Yadu clan shone forth with the exception of Śrī Vasudeva. Seeing an opportunity after a moment, he announced by way of a humble plea: "I have a small request."
