[7] snigdhakaṇṭha uvāca-tataś ca taj-janma-vṛttāmṛta-nava-varṣābhiḥ śikhina iva gopāḥ kolāhalaṃ kalayāmāsuḥ | śrī-gopaty-adhipas tu vānaspatya iva pulakāṅkura-kulākulatayā paraṃ paramānandaṃ vyañjayāmāsa, na tu vacasā |

Snigdhakaṇṭha said: "And then, through the fresh downpour of nectar that was the news of his birth, the cowherds raised an uproar like peacocks. But the glorious lord of the cowherds, like a tree in fruit, expressed the highest supreme bliss through the agitation of a multitude of bristling hairs of ecstasy, and not through speech."
