anena prīyatāṃ viṣṇus tena stān me sute śivam |
evaṃ prasabham udbhūtā dāne nandasya bhāvanā ||
And there: / "May Viṣṇu be pleased with this; by that, may good fortune befall my son!"— / such was the contemplation that forcefully arose in Nanda at the time of giving.
