[82] tataś ca, svapraśnottara-viṣayīkṛta-tad-viṣa-yoṣā-vṛtti-śeṣā rājñānujñāpayām babhūve pūrvavad apūrva-dānādy-apūrvāya | tac ca tām eva pradhānaṃ vidhāya vidhīyate sma iti |

And then, having made the remaining story of that poisonous woman the subject of her own questions and answers, permission was sought from the king for unprecedented giving of gifts and other rites as before. And that was performed, having made her the principal recipient.
