[84] cetasi cedaṃ viviktavān,
arbhāsṛg-bhug ajani yat purā yad arvāg-
dhātrī cābhavad iyam atra nanda-sūnoḥ |
tat kvādhaspadam atha tac-chiraspadaṃ vā
kvety antar-hṛdi vimṛśan bhṛśaṃ bhramāmi || [praharṣiṇī]

And in his mind he reflected upon this:
"Because previously she was a drinker of children's blood, and here later
she became a nurse to Nanda's son,
where is her place beneath his feet, or where is her place upon his head?—
pondering this deeply within my heart, I am utterly bewildered!" //
