[30] dūta uvāca-"atha kiṃ? yat khalu śīghram evāsmai rāja-vyāja-rākṣasāya saṅgamya balir valayitavyo militavyaś cāham" iti | kiṃ cedam api sandiṣṭam, "bhavan-nandanotpatti-samayaṃ samayā vayam atyutkaṇṭhitās tan-maṅgalena saṅgama-nīyāḥ, tathā bhavat-putra-nirviśeṣasya tasya bāla-viśeṣasya vṛttir vartayitavyā" iti |

The messenger said: "Indeed! Namely: 'Quickly going to this demon in the disguise of a king, tribute must be presented, and you must meet with me.' Moreover, he sent this message: 'Near the time of the birth of your son, we are exceedingly eager to be united by his auspicious ceremonies; and the livelihood of that special child, who is indistinguishable from your own son, must be provided for.'"
