kaṃsāreḥ sumadhurimā pramāṇa-caryāṃ
na prāpsyaty adhiyuga-koṭi-kūṭito' pi |
sā rākṣasy api rudhirāśanāpi yasya
sparśāṃśād vara-surabhitvam āsasāda || [praharṣiṇī]

The exquisite sweetness of Kaṃsāri will not reach the measure of full comprehension,
even if calculated over millions of ages;
for even that female demon, a drinker of blood,
attained supreme fragrance from a mere fraction of his touch. //
