[11] sa cāsuraḥ svayam evāmūrtatām urīkṛtavān itīva tam apy asāv ākāśa-nīkāśatayā nāśayāmāsa | tad idam aho kākatālīyam eva jātam | so' yam asurāveśa eva brahmāṇḍa-purāṇe śrī-kṛṣṇāṣṭottara-śata-nāma-stotre śakaṭāsura-bhañjana iti nāmnā vyañjitaḥ |

And that demon had voluntarily adopted bodilessness; as if for that reason, [Kṛṣṇa] destroyed him so that he became like empty space. Ah, this happened quite like the crow and the palm-fruit! This very possession by the demon has been expressed by the name Śakaṭāsurabhañjana ('shatterer of the cart demon') in the Śrī-Kṛṣṇāṣṭottara-śata-nāma-stotra of the Brahmāṇḍa Purāṇa.
