[25] tad evaṃ bālyam evārabhya vipra-poṣaṇād ātmanas toṣa iti tad ārambhāya stambhamānam āhvānādi-lakṣyeṇa laghu laghu samīpam āsannā sa-rāmaṃ rāmānujaṃ bhujayor gṛhītvā gṛham ānināya |

[25] In this manner, [thinking,] "Pleasing oneself comes from nourishing the brāhmaṇas right from childhood," under the pretext of calling him and so on as he hesitated to begin that [bath], she approached slowly, took Rāma's younger brother along with Rāma by their arms, and brought them home.
