Driving those Rajasthānīyas, who had fled to Kāṣṭhavāṭa, even from there through fear,
that king shone forth, possessing praiseworthy renown.

Where, as if against the evening glow by dark shadows,
the movement of the master's radiance had been blocked by the mighty Lavanyas,

the entire circle of Kaśmīra was brought under control in an instant by him,
who punished his enemies with fierce heroism, as if it had come to him by succession.

Taking away, as it were, the trembling from their hearts through wealth as well,
he then served as the right arm and right eye of the people.
