darpaglānibhavāṃ rājapānthānāṃ tāpasantatim /
hantuṃ saṃropitaẖ kāvyadrumo bhāviphalodayaḥ //

To quell the continuous torment of travelers along the royal path, arisen from the languor of pride, / the tree of courtly poetry has been planted, yielding future fruit.
