sa citravarṇavicchittihāriṇor avanīpatiḥ
śrīharṣa iva saṃghaṭṭaṃ cakre bāṇamayūrayoḥ //
That lord of the earth brought about an encounter between his arrow and the peacock, / which delighted with the variegated beauty of their forms, / just as King Harṣa brought about an encounter between [the poets] Bāṇa and Mayūra.
