susvarai rvedapāṭhaiśca viprā vedavidāṃ varāḥ /
kṣatriyā svarṇaratnādichatrakaiśca mahottamaiḥ //

With sweet-sounding Vedic recitations, the Brahmins, best among knowers of the Vedas; / the Kṣatriyas with umbrellas made of gold, jewels, and the like, of the highest excellence;
