1.25

tad āśu kartuṃ tvayi jihmam udyate vidhīyatāṃ tatra vidheyam uttaram
parapraṇītāni vacāṃsi cinvatāṃ pravṛttisārāḥ khalu mādṛśāṃ dhiyaḥ //

Therefore, toward him who is intent on doing you wrong, / let the appropriate counter-measure be quickly undertaken; / for the intellects of those like me, / who gather words spoken by others, have news alone as their essence."
