1.43

puraḥsarā dhāmavatāṃ yaśodhanāḥ suduḥsahaṃ prāpya nikāram īdṛśam
bhavādṛśāś ced adhikurvate parān nirāśrayā hanta hatā manasvitā //

If those like you, foremost among the glorious, whose wealth is fame, / having met with such unbearable humiliation, / defer to enemies, / then alas, proud high-mindedness is destroyed, left without refuge!
