viśaṅkamāno bhavataḥ parābhavaṃ nṛpāsanastho 'pi vanādhivāsinaḥ
durodaracchadmajitāṃ samīhate nayena jetuṃ jagatīṃ suyodhanaḥ //
Apprehending defeat at your hands, though seated upon the royal throne, / Suyodhana seeks by statecraft to conquer the earth / won [only] by the deceit of the dice board from you who dwell in the forest.
