puṃsaḥ padaṃ madhyamam uttamasya dvidheva kurvan dhanuṣaḥ praṇādaiḥ
nūnaṃ tathā naiṣā yathāsya veṣaḥ pracchannam apy ūhayate hi ceṣṭā //

Rending in two the middle region of the Supreme Person / by the resounding twangs of his bow—
surely he is not as his attire [suggests], / for action reveals even what is concealed.
