5.48

jaladajālaghanair asitāśmanām upahatapracayeha marīcibhiḥ
bhavati dīptir adīpitakaṃdarā timirasaṃvaliteva vivasvataḥ //

Here, with its abundance diminished by the dark stones / resembling dense banks of clouds, / the brilliance of the sun does not light up the caves, / as though entwined with darkness.
