imāny amūnīty apavarjite śanair yathābhirāmaṃ kusumāgrapallave
vihāya niḥsāratayeva bhūruhān padaṃ vanaśrīr vanitāsu saṃdadhe //

“Take these, not those”—as the flower-tipped sprouts / were thus gently picked according to their charm, / the beauty of the forest, as if finding the trees devoid of essence, / established her abode among the women.
