saṃvidhātum abhiṣekam udāse manmathasya lasadaṃśujalaughaḥ
yāminīvanitayā tatacihnaḥ sotpalo rajatakumbha ivenduḥ //
To perform the consecration of Love, the woman that is night lifted up the moon—
a flood of shining water-rays, its mark spread across it, like a silver pitcher filled with blue lotuses.
