śaṅkitāya kṛtabāṣpanipātām īrṣyayā vimukhitāṃ dayitāya
māninim abhimukhāhitacittāṃ śaṃsati sma ghanaromavibhedaḥ //
The dense bristling of hair betrayed the proud woman whose mind was turned toward her lover,
though out of jealousy she had turned away and shed tears before the anxious man.
