vrīḍayā viphalayā vanitānāṃ na sthitaṃ na vigataṃ hṛdayeṣu //
As they threw themselves upon their husbands in the presence of female friends, / spurred on by the intoxication of wine, / useless shame neither remained / nor vanished from the hearts of the women.
