iti viśakalitārthamauddhavīṃvācamenāmanugatanayamārgamargalāṃ durnayasya /
janitamudamudasthāduccakairucchritoraḥsthalaniyataniṣaṇṇaśrīśrutāṃ śuśruvānsaḥ //

Having heard this speech of Uddhava, which clearly distinguished the matters at hand, followed the path of policy, barred improper conduct, / and produced great joy, he, on whose broad chest Śrī rests firmly, rose up with eminence.
