jagatpavitraiḥ api taṃ na pādaiḥ spraṣṭuṃ jagatpūjyam ayujyata arkaḥ /
yataḥ bṛhatpārvaṇacāru tasyātapatraṃ bibharāṃbabhūve //
Even with his rays that purify the world, the sun was not fit to touch him, the worshipful of the world; / for a large parasol, beautiful as the full moon, was held over him.
