paraspasphardhiparārghyarūpāḥ paurastriyo yatra vidhāya vedhāḥ /
śrīnirmitaprāptaguṇakṣataikavarṇopamāvācyamalaṃ mamārja //

Having fashioned the city's women, whose priceless beauty rivalled one another, / the Creator thoroughly wiped away the blemish of reproach: that he had used all his skill in creating Śrī alone.
