utpitsavo 'ntarnadabharturuccairgarīyasā niḥśvasitānilena /
payāṃsi bhaktyā garuḍadhvajasya dhvājānivoccikṣipire phaṇīndrāḥ //

Willing to rise up from within the lord of rivers with the mighty wind of their breath, / the serpent kings, out of devotion to the Garuḍa-bannered Lord, raised the waters high like banners.
