vāmane ca tamo mayastathaivānyaḥ samudbhūtastrilocanaḥ | śūla
pāṇiḥ kapardī cāpyakṣamālāṃ nidarśayan ||

And in the Vāmana[purāṇa]: “Likewise another, full of tamas, the three-eyed one, arose, / bearing a trident in hand, with matted hair, displaying a rosary.”
