āyodhane sthāyukamastrajāta- mamoghamabhyarṇa-mahā''havāya
dadau vadhāya kṣaṇadācarāṇāṃ tasmai muniḥ śreyasi jāgarūkaḥ
For the imminent great combat, the sage, vigilant for his welfare,
gave him for the slaughter of the night-roamers
the whole collection of unerring missile weapons that remain enduring in battle.
