kṣipraṃ tato 'dhvanya-turaṅga-yāyī yaviṣṭha-vad vṛddha-tamo 'pi rājā
ākhyāyakebhyaḥ śruta-sūnu-vṛtti- ra-glāna-yāno mithilāmagacchat.

Then, riding swift road-horses like the youngest man, though he was the most aged, / the king, having heard of his son's conduct from the tellers, went to Mithilā in an untiring carriage.
