tāḥ sāntvayantī bharata-pratīkṣā taṃ bandhu-tā nyakṣipadāśu taile,
dūtāṃśca rājā''tmajamāninīṣūn prāsthāpayan mantri-matena yūnaḥ.

Consoling them while awaiting Bharata, the kinsfolk quickly laid him in oil, / and by the counsel of the ministers they dispatched swift messengers to bring the king's son.
