ṛg-yajuṣamadhīyānān sāmānyāṃśca samarcayan
bubhuje deva-sāt-kṛtvā śūlyamukhyaṃ ca hema-vān.

Honoring those who were reciting the Ṛgveda, the Yajurveda, and the common [chants],
possessing gold, he ate choice roasted meat after offering it to the gods.
