nir-laṅko vimadaḥ svāmī dhanānāṃ hṛta-puṣpakaḥ
adhyāste 'ntar-giraṃ yasmāt, kas tan nā 'vaiti kāraṇam.

Because the lord of wealth, stripped of Laṅkā, deprived of pride, his Puṣpaka taken away, / dwells inside a mountain—who does not know the reason for that?
