abhiṣyantaḥ kapiṃ krodhādabhyaṣiñcannivā ''tmanaḥ
saṃprahāra-samudbhūtai raktaiḥ koṣṇairaruś-cyutaiḥ.

Rushing forward out of wrath, they seemed to sprinkle the monkey / with his own warm blood trickling from wounds caused by the combat.
