supratiṣṇāta-sūtrāṇā kapiṣṭhala-sama-tviṣām
sthitāṃ vṛtte dvijātīnāṃ rātrāvaikṣata maithilīm

“By night he saw Maithilī abiding in the conduct of twice-born men, / whose cords are well washed, whose luster is like Kapiṣṭhala’s,”
