na dadāti prativacanaṃ vikrayakāle śaṭho vaṇiṅmaunī &
niḥkṣepapāṇipuruṣaṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃbhāṣaṇāṃ kurute

At the time of selling, the rogue merchant remains silent and gives no answer; / [but] seeing a man with a deposit in his hand, he starts a conversation.
